LOBSTER FRANTIC

The Deep Blue is proud to announce that the Lobster Frantic tour of European Capitals was kicked off in Copenhagen, Denmark, June 18th 2009.

The Deep Blue has, in cooperation with innovative, logistical company; Aqualife brought a batch of live Canadian hard shell lobsters to Denmark. The Aqualife technology provides for a cheaper and more sustainable means of transportation, and now allows the Danish lobster lovers to enjoy their favorite dish at some of Copenhagen’s top restaurants and Cafés.

The first ever Lobster Frantic campaign was kicked off in the scenic Tivoli Gardens located in the centre of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark.

The event was co-hosted by the Canadian Embassy in Denmark, represented by his excellence the Ambassador Peter Lundy himself.

A total of 110 guests participated in the event and with a total consumption of more than 3.5 lobsters per head the event was proclaimed a success.

The Danish media had also gotten word of the new sustainable method of transportation and unique quality of The Deep Blue lobster and was represented by Danish TV Channel TV2. This lead to a 4.32 minute sequence in the 19:30 Danish local news broadcast, Saturday, June 27th.
