On Thursday, June 18th Copenhagen, Denmark will be flooded with day fresh Canadian hard shell lobster from The Deep Blue
What better way to celebrate the arrival of summer than feasting your taste buds and stomach on day fresh Canadian hard shell lobster? Well, we can’t think of any, and therefore, The Deep Blue has, in cooperation with participating Copenhagen restaurants, arranged for a few weeks of true lobster frantic.

Participating restaurants

From Thursday June 18th and 4 weeks ahead people can enjoy the fresh caught, fresh cooked Canadian hard shell lobster at some of Copenhagen’s best restaurants and Cafés incl. Café Victor, Bistro Boheme, Restaurant Kanalen, Café Ketchup Tivoli, Quote, F.I.A.T & Hotel Skt. Petri. The participating restaurants will be cooking the fresh lobster in both new and classic ways, each adding their signature to the preparation of the King of the ocean: The Canadian hard shell lobster.

Common for all restaurants are that guest can enjoy half a fresh cooked lobster for only DKK 149,-

Carbon footprint and animal welfare – A top priority

The Deep Blue has entered into an extensive partnership with technology and logistical company Aqualife, whose system allows for ocean freight of live shellfish between continents. The ocean freight of shellfish not only reduces the carbon footprint with up to 30 times, it also ensures that the animals are transported with much higher focus on animal welfare, less stress and improved traceability.
